Your dashboard at a glance

When you log in, the main Dashboard greets you with the headline numbers:

  • Total subscribers
  • Number of published posts
  • Average open rate (how many people open your emails)
  • Engagement charts showing trends over time

The four things you can measure

AreaWhat it tells you
AudienceTotal subscribers, how fast you're growing, and where new readers came from.
EngagementHow many people open and click your emails, plus subscribes vs. unsubscribes.
Post performanceHow each individual issue did, your top posts, and the best hours when readers open.
Web trafficVisits to your website, your most popular pages, and where visitors came from.

Choosing a time range

Every chart lets you pick a period so you can zoom in or out:

  • 7 days
  • 30 days
  • 90 days
  • 1 year
  • All time

A note on open rates

Open tracking works through a tiny invisible image in each email. Some email apps block these images or load them automatically, so open rates are a helpful trend, not a perfectly exact count. Watch the direction over time rather than obsessing over a single number.
